All applications to long-term care homes are coordinated by the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Home and Community Care.

Cost

Long-term care homes receive funding from the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care. The amount paid by residents for their accommodation is called a "co-payment". The cost of long-term care depends on the type of accommodation requested. Visit the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care website for further information.

Wait Time

The length of time a person may wait for admission to John Noble Home varies depending upon the type of accommodation requested (private, semi-private or basic) and the individual's care needs. The Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network (HNHB LHIN) will advise you when an appropriate vacancy arises. You will be expected to make your placement decision within 24 hours of this contact. Please advise your HNHB LHIN Care Coordinator of any changes in health, urgency of placement or if you wish to change your requested type of accommodation.

Please note that the John Noble Home is a non-smoking facility.
