About Us
“a wellness program for
Individuals with Memory Problems.”
To provide structured activities to help individuals maintain
an optimum level of physical ability, intellectual function and social interaction.
This is accomplished through involvement in recreational, social and therapeutic
activities such as exercise, horticulture, discussion groups, music, cooking and
day trips. Staff are trained in areas of gerontology, recreation and leisure
activities designed specifically for individuals with memory problems.

The Alzheimer Day Centre at the John Noble Home
opened in the spring of 1990. Designed and built especially for
those with dementia, the centre projects a cheery, relaxed
environment. It is truly a home away from home. Days at the
Centre are filled with outings, activities, and therapeutic programs
providing our clients with the opportunity for recreation and socialization
in a safe, secure, supportive environment. In 2000 the program was expanded
to add an overnight program on Friday evenings through Saturday as well as
additional day programming on the Saturday. In January of 2003 the program
was renamed to better reflect the services the program provides. It is now
known as the John Noble Centre Day & Stay Program.
